Elizabeth Diane Brown

Ms. Elizabeth "Liz" D. Brown, age 64, of Crawfordsville, IN. passed away on Monday December 31, 2018 at the Lane House nursing home. Liz was born on December 21, 1954 the daughter of Lonzo and Ruby Britt in Lepanto, Arkansas. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a kind hearted person who always had her door open to anyone in need and was and avid bingo player. She also enjoyed goin to the casino and collected porcelain dolls. Liz was a hard worker and for most of her working years was a housekeeper in the hotel industry and had homeowner clients she also cleaned for.

Liz is survived by sons: Robert (Angie) Brown and Jason (Trisha) Brown of Crawfordsville, IN.; Roy, James, Tony & Chester Brown all of Arkansas. Daughters, Chrissy Cooper of North Vernon, IN and Dorothy Majors of Jonesboro, Arkansas. She is also survived by brothers Billy Lawrence and Jimmy Britt of Crawfordsville, IN and William Britt, Jonesboro Arkansas. Sisters Dorothy Britt and Marie Spencer, Jonesboro, Arkansas, Hattie Wilson, Truman Arkansas and Lucy Rusher, Crawfordsville, IN. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Jakob, Robby, Alex, Kalob and Elijah Brown, Rosa Handley and Josh Cooper II.

Liz was preceded in death by her parents, her partner of many years Carly Bartley, sister Lillybelle and brother Leroy Britt.

Funeral services for Elizabeth D. Brown will be held at 1:00PM MONDAY January 7TH, 2019 at Shoemaker Funeral Home, 202 Bratton Rd. Waynetown, IN. with burial following in the Oak Hill Cemetery South, Crawfordsville, IN. Visitation will be from 11:am that day until the services at 1:00pm. those who wish may make memorial donations to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-9959. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
