Eloise Crawley

Mrs. Eloise Crawley, 84, Crawfordsville, passed away Tuesday, January 17, at 6:18 PM, at St. Elizabeth, Crawfordsville. She was born April 7, 1927, in Green Township, to Ernest Jack and Emma (Clore) Jack-Conrad. She married John T. "Jack" Crawley, June 17, 1949, in Crawfordsville. He preceded her in death in 1979.

Mrs. Crawley had been a cost accountant and billing clerk for Indiana Printing Company from 1947 until 1965, and Rand McNally from 1967 until 1979. She was a member of the Crawfordsville First Christian Church; a 1947 graduate of Crawfordsville High School; and a member of the American Legion Auxilliary.

She is survived by nieces: Carolyn Hacker, Darlene (Marvin) Ramsay, Judy (Wally) Finitzer, Joan Collier, and Linda Graham, all of Crawfordsville: nephews: Richard (Mary Lou) Graham, Waveland, and Marvin (Barb) Graham, Ladoga. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Harriet Cooper and Betty Graham.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 20, at 11:00 AM, at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, 315 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville, with Dr. Raymond Williams officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Hill Grant Avenue Cemetery, Crawfordsville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
