Estis Irene Caldwell

Mrs. Estis Irene Caldwell, 91, Crawfordsville, passed away Monday, August 7th, 2017, at 4:30 PM in the Whitlock Place Healthcare.She was born September 5th, 1925, in Indianapolis, to Henry Franklin and Mary Grace (Swearingen) Faust.She married Charles Edmund Caldwell in Crawfordsville on May 29th, 1943.He preceded her in death in 2014.

Irene's work history included being the Montgomery County Assessor and working for Mary Bishop in her book processing center.Irene had been a Notary Republic; a member of the Montgomery County Republicans to Elect Will Hays; was a member of the Linden Community Church; attended Crawfordsville schools; and did volunteer work for the Senior Citizens Center.
She is survived by her daughters: Courtney (David) Hunter, of Crawfordsville; and Suzzy (Boyd) Caldwell-Peck, of Temple, Texas.Also surviving are several grand and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
