Ethel Marie Hudson

Ethel Marie (Selby) Hudson, age 102 of Crawfordsville passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Whitlock Place. She was born in Alamo on July 24, 1922 to the late Iral Scott and Ida (Bowerman) Selby.

Ethel graduated from Alamo High School, Class of 1940. She married Roscoe Hudson on November 26, 1955, he preceded her in death on October 27, 1980. Ethel worked for various local businesses throughout Crawfordsville including Milligan's Flowers, BMV, and the Courthouse. She was a member of the Alamo Christian Church. After marrying Roscoe, they had a Pine Tree Farm. Ethel enjoyed collecting dishes and spending time with her brothers, nieces, and nephews.

Ethel is survived by her brother, Kenneth Selby; nieces and nephews, Ed (Irene) Selby, Jerry (Diane) Selby, Marsha (Bob) Mieure, and Stephen (Karen) Selby; stepson, Cyler (Mary) Hudson; and many step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brother, Eston Selby; and stepchildren, Madge, Jack, Rosemary, Mack, Eugene, Ruhama Jane, Paul, and Phyllis.
