Eva J. Brissey

Eva Joanne (Flaurr) Brissey, age 84 of Crawfordsville passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Franciscan Health Lafayette East. She was born in Russellville, IN on February 14, 1934 to the late Ira & Cleophia (Massey) Flaurr.

Eva attended Russellville Schools and married Myron Brissey, who preceded her in death on July 10, 2010. She was a retired private duty nurse for over 20 years and also worked at Ben Hur Nursing Home for many years. She was a member of the Rock Point Church and the Cayuga American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her four sons, Donnie (Rhonda) Allison, Jim Allison, David (Dana Adams) Allison, all of Rockville, and Ronnie (Sonja) Allison of Marshall; a daughter, Deb (Jeff) Caldwell of Russellville; a brother, John (Darlene) Flaurr of Rockville; a sister, Marjorie Byrd of Rockville; nine grandchildren, Doug, Brent, Danielle, Adrianna (Logan), Kaila, Jacob, Christian, Brianna, and Johnathen; five great grandchildren, Viola, Temperance, Owen, Evee, and Everlee; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Myron; a daughter-in-law, Chrissy Allison; three brothers, Frank, Ronald, and Ralph Flaurr; and two sisters, Virginia Rector and Marylee Zachary.

Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S Washington St, in Crawfordsville on Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 5:00pm till the time of the funeral service at 7:00pm with Pastor Mark Stevens officiating.
