Eva Marie Sering

Mrs. Eva Marie Sering, 83, Cridersville, Ohio, formerly of Crawfordsville, passed away Tuesday, November 15th, at 4:00 AM in the Baton Rouge Nursing Home, Lima, Ohio. She was born February 17th, 1933 in Crawfordsville, to Orville James and Helen Lorene (Hyten) Montgomery. She married Paul Joseph "Bud" Sering in Crawfordsville on March 15th, 1952. He preceded her in death in 2004.

Eva was a Home Health Care Nurse's Aide for 13 years. She attended Crawfordsville Schools, and was a member of the Nazarene Church. Her favorite "hobby" was taking care of her dogs.

She is survived by her sisters: Carol Springer, Crawfordsville; and Sheryl Dias, Criderville, Ohio. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Loretta Stewart; Betty Rector; and Connie Thompson.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, November 19th, at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, with Rev. Glen McFarland officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Grant Avenue Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from Noon until the service time.
