Everett Foster

Mr. Everett B. "EB" Foster, 81, Crawfordsville, formerly of New Market and Foley, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, March 5, at 1:00 PM in the Ben Hur Nursing Home. He was born August 28, 1931, in Benton County, to Letcher T. Foster and Clemma K. (Wilhite) Foster-Cory. He married Betty L. Hubble, July 21, 1950, in New Market. She survives.

Mr. Foster worked for 13 years at RR Donnelleys and later became the owner and operator of E.B. Foster Excavating until his retirement. He was a 1949 graduate of Ladoga High School; a U. S. Army and Indiana National Guard Veteran; member of the Faith Missionary Baptist Church; the Alamo Masonic Lodge; and the Indiana LICA.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter: Diane Kelly, Indianapolis; sons: Donald (Susie) Foster, Crawfordsville; David (Brenda) Foster, Crawfordsville; sister-in-law: Sue Kelly, Russellville; half brother: Paul Foster, Lafayette; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation was selected with a public visitation to be held Friday, March 8, at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, Crawfordsville, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. The family asks that all friends come dressed casually. There will not be a funeral service. Following cremation there will be a committal service at the Ladoga Cemetery at a later date.
