Frances Mildred (Burch) Millikan, age 83, of Kingman went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 10, 2017 at Union Hospital in Clinton while surrounded by her loving family. Frances was born in Danville, IL on July 13, 1933 to the late Frank & Hattie (Laws) Burch. Frances attended Tangier High School and on November 1, 1949 she married the love of her life, Garland "Gene" Millikan, who preceded her death on November 18, 2013.
Together Gene and Frances owned and operated Gene's Farm Supply in Kingman for over 51 years. Frances was the back bone of Gene's Farm Supply and helped Gene in all aspects at the grain elevator, whether it was completing the paperwork or dumping the grain trucks. She was a loving mother and grandmother who adored her children and she enjoyed gardening, canning, needle work, embroidering, and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Kingman Bunco Club and attended the Rockville Christian Church.
She is survived by 3 sons, Raymond Millikan of Kingman, Paul (wife-Angie) Millikan of Hillsdale, and Jim (wife-Jennifer) of Kingman; 12 grandchildren, Scott, Mia, David, Darrin, Samantha, Brandi, Brody, Dalton, Dayci, Josh, Molly, and Morgan; 10 great-grandchildren, Jayda, Sarah, Hannah, Korbin, Jaia, Kyran, Landon, Levi, Vincent, and Esther; her sister, Pat Parker; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene; son, Andy Millikan; daughter, Anita Sanders; and brother, Tom Burch.
Family will receive friends from 4:00 - 8:00 pm on Friday, July 14th at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street, in Kingman. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 15th at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Don Hatfield officiating. Burial will follow at Kingman Fraternal Cemetery.
