Mr. Frank L. Perdue, 86, Brownsburg, passed away Friday, November 23, at 9:37 AM, in the Brownsburg Meadows Healthcare. He was born January 15, 1926 in Brookston, Indiana, to Henry B. and Mary Ann (Scott) Perdue. He married Frances M. Cook February 11, 1950, in New Richmond. She preceded him in death in 2004. He later married Lorraine Worsley, May 29, 2010, in Brownsburg. She survives.
Mr. Perdue retired in 1994 after 25 years at Ransburg Electroplating where he had been a Laboratory Supervisor. He also had worked as a tool and die maker for Wallace Tool & Die; owned Perdue Insulation; and drove school bus for Brownsburg Schools. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, attending in the Brownsburg Ward; was a 1943 graduate of Linden High School; attended Indiana University; and was a WW II Army Infantry Veteran. His hobbies included baseball, basketball, golf, fishing, boating, and gardening.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his first wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers: Hank and Fred Perdue.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 26, at 11:00 AM at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, 315 S.Washington St., Crawfordsville, with burial in the Oak Hill North Cemetery with Military Rites being conducted by the VFW and American Legion Posts of Crawfordsville.. Visitation will be Sunday, November 25, from 6:00 PM until 8:00
