Gail Anne Henderson

Gail Anne (Williamson) Henderson, age 65, of Kingman passed away on December 16, 2014 at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. She was born in Danville, IL on July 5, 1949 to the late Joseph and Lillian (Shelton) Williamson.

Gail graduated from Danville High School in 1967 and married her high school sweetheart, Owen B. Henderson on August 26 that same year. Throughout the years, Gail helped out on the farm, fed the animals, tended to her flower garden, and enjoyed mowing the yard. She was a stern, but loving mother, and will be remembered for her caring nature, generosity, and her wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed baking Christmas candies, decorating cakes, doing crafts, and loved spending time with her grandchildren and loved her dogs. Gail attended Danville Area Community College and helped tutor accounting classes and was a member of the Prairie Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Owen Henderson of Kingman; three sons, Olen (Pauline) Henderson of Newport, Aaron (Pamela) Henderson of Crawfordsville, and Owen Henderson of Kingman; two sisters, Nancy (Allen) Addis of FL and Linda (Malcolm) Hinton of NC; two brothers, Joseph (Susan) Williamson of NC and Terry Williamson of VA; 6 grandchildren, Chelsea, Rachel, Robert, Michael, Jodi, and Bill; and 6 great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 12-2pm on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street, in Kingman with funeral services to follow at 2pm with Pastor Loren Stephens officiating.
