Gary Lee Hayn, age 56, of Covington passed away on May 13, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital in Williamsport. He was born in Champaign, IL on November 17, 1958 to the late Harm Hayn and Lavonne (Sjoken) Toline.

Gary attended Maryvale High School in AZ and on July 8, 1989 he married the love of his life, Katrina (Lenover) Hayn in Rantoul, IL. He was a member of the American Lutheran Church of Rantoul in his younger years and was self-employed and owned Hayn Construction. He was an avid outdoorsmen and President of the Coon Hunters Club, enjoyed golf, fishing, and nature. He loved watching sports with his favorite teams being Cardinal baseball, IU basketball, and Colts football, but most of all people remember his happiness, big-heart, and his love for his family.

He is survived by his wife, Katrina of Covington; three sons, Robert (Sheena) Lenover of Danville, IN, Jerry (fiance-Michelle) Hayn of Kingman, and Jacob Hayn of Danville, IN; four daughters, Jennie Hayn of OH, Angie Hayn of Rockville, Karie Hayn of OH, and Kasie (Manuel) Lothschuetz of Covington; a brother, Robert (Mary) Hayn of AZ; two sisters, Shirley (Fred) Harris and Linda Moore, both of AZ; three grandchildren, Macey, Rosel, and Ethan; several nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harm; step-father, Dick; and his mother, Lavonne.

Direct Cremation was chosen with a Celebration of Life on Monday, May 18, 2015 from 4-8pm at the Marshall Federated Church, 105 N Main St. in Marshall, IN. Memorial Contributions may be given to the family to help cover final expenses or mailed to Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street, Kingman, IN 47952.
