Gary Lee McDaniel

Mr. Gary Lee McDaniel, 76, Crawfordsvillle, passed away Wednesday,January 3rd, 2017, in the St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette. He was bornNovember14th, 1941, in Tipton County, to Loren T. and Chloe Violet (Heflin) McDaniel. He married Frances "Francie" Kay Fisher in Elwood, Indiana, onDecember 18th, 1965. She survives.

Gary was retired from the Elston and National City Banks in Crawfordsville.He was a 1960 graduate of Frankton High School; a U.S. Army Veteran and later served 15 years in the Army Reserves. He was also a member of the Crawfordsville Jaycees, where he had been a Jaycee Senator; and was a Life Member of the American Legion Post #72.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son: Pat McDaniel of Stratford, Connecticut; and grandchildren: Sean Patrick McDaniel and Clare Elizabeth McDaniel.He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters: Patricia, Sara, Eugenia, and Betty; his brothers: Gilbert and Lavon Terrence.
