Geneva L Covault

Geneva L. (Kiser) Covault, age 95, of Kingman passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at the Waters of Covington Nursing Home.

She was born in Warren County on August 11, 1921 to the late Frank & Myrtle (Hull) Kiser. She attended Covington schools and on November 5, 1938 she married the love of her life, Oakley E. Covault, who preceded her in death in 2002. She attended the Centennial Community Church and worked at Coffing Brothers Orchard for over 20 years. She loved her flowers, sewing, was a great painter, and enjoyed raising and taking care of her granddaughter, Rita.

She is survived by her grandchildren, James W. & Rita A. Covault; great-granddaughter, Julia Covault; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Oakley; a son, James; two brothers, Alonzo Kiser and Charles Tanner; and a sister, Margaret Derringer.

Visitation will be Friday, September 30, 2016 from 12-2 pm at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street, in Kingman with the funeral service at 2pm with Pastor Bob Cruea officiating. Burial will follow at Osborn Prairie Cemetery. Share memories and condolences online at www.sandersfuneralcare.com
