Gerald Foye

Mr. Gerald T. "Gerry" Foye, Highland, Indiana, formerly of Crawfordsville, passed away at 12:15 AM in his home on Wednesday, January 25. He was born October 13, 1942, in Crawfordsville, to Wayne R. and Bernetta (Weinschenk) Foye. He married Joyce Kreps August 27, 1966, in Crawfordsville. She survives.

Mr. Foye was a self-employed Woodcraftsman, operating with his wife since 1971 the Odds 'N' Ends Store. He was a 1961 graduate of Crawfordsville High School. He enjoyed collecting John Wayne memorbilia and model tractors.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Matthew Foye, Griffith, Indiana, and Michelle (Companion, Adam Covey) Foye, Highland. Also surviving is his sister: Annette (Ron) HItch, Crawfordsville; brothers: Gregg Foye, Crawfordsville; James (Doris) Foye, Honolulu, Hawaii; Kenneth Foye, Mt Horeb , Wisconsin; and grandchildren: Samantha, A.J., Jared, Theresa, and Ethan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers: David, Randy, and Glenn Foye.

Cremation was selected with a Memorial Service to be held on Saturday, January 28, at 6:00 PM at the Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, 315 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville, with Mr. Michael Kreps officiating. The family will greet friends on Saturday at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
