Mr. Glenn A. Wilbert, Jr, 51, Lake Holiday, passed away Wednesday, May 22, at 10:21 PM, in the St. Elizabeth Central Hospital, Lafayette. He was born March 19, 1962, in Halifax, Pennsylvania, to Glenn A., Sr. and Sharon Walker. He was raised by Glenn, Sr. and Marilyn (Calvert) Wilbert. He married Diana L. Hedrick, December 3, 1988, in Crawfordsville. She survives.
Mr. Wilbert worked for Inland Container/International Paper for the past 17 years. He was a 1980 graduate of North Montgomery High School; attended Vocational School after high school; attended Mt. Zion United Methodist Church; was a member of the Montgomery Masonic Lodge #50; and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being outdoors.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Alicia M. (Brian) Howe; Travis Wilbert; Michael (Marcie) Morgan; Matthew (Tasha) Morgan, all of Crawfordsville. Also surviving is his parents: Glenn and Marilyn Wilbert, Darlington; sisters: Korina (Chris) Wilbert, West Lafayette; Teresa (Bill) Williamson, Kentucky; grandchildren: Kainen Jones, Cameron Morgan, Katie Manzon, McKenna Howe, and Mikaela Morgan. He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 25, at 2:00 PM in the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 2131 W. Black Creek Valley Rd., with Rev. Warren Stewart officiating. Burial will be in the Indian Creek Hill Cemetery, New Market. Friends may call at the church on Saturday, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Powers-Priebe Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
