Gloria Ann Becker

Ms. Gloria Ann Becker, 82, Crawfordsville, passed away Monday, April 3rd, at 1:10 AM in the Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville. She was born on December 11th, 1934, in Hamilton, Ohio, to Leroy Robert and Estella (Gruewe) Brinkman.

Gloria had worked in the Bindery Department at R.R.Donnelleys for 22 years and last worked as a Nurse's Aide at the Durham Home in Crawfordsville. She attended schools in Ohio; was a member of the St. Bernard's Catholic Church of Crawfordsville; and in her free time enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and playing Bingo.

She is survived by her children: Jane Simmons, Crawfordsville; Jim (Nancy) Becker, Lebanon; Joe Becker, Pittsboro; and Jack Becker, Crawfordsville. Also surviving is her Dog: Dudley; 12 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters; and 5 brothers.

Cremation was chosen with a Memorial Mass being held on Saturday, April 8th, at 1:00 PM at the St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 1306 E. Main St., Crawfordsville, with Fr. Christopher Shocklee officiating Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the church on Saturday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
