Gordon "Craig" Spriestersbach

Gordon “Craig” Spriestersbach, age 62 of Cayuga passed away at home on Tuesday, August 27, 2019. He was born in Danville, IL on June 9, 1957 to the late Gerald “Jerry” C. & Joyce Ann (Kramer) Spriestersbach.

Craig graduated from Covington High School in 1976 and married the love of his life, Elizabeth Jean Burch on September 16, 1978. Throughout the years he worked at Olin/Flexel in Covington for 20 years, Covington IGA and recently retired from the Cayuga Red & White after 12 years. He loved computers and was always surfing the web. He was a Cubs, Colts and Pacers fan, IU basketball and Bobby Knight fan, and enjoyed watching NASCAR.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jean of Cayuga; two daughters, Tracie Spriestersbach of Cayuga and Danielle (Nathan) Murray of Wheatland; two brothers, Mike (Paula) Spriestersbach of Covington and Keith (Nancy) Spriestersbach of Danville, IL; five grandchildren; Aubree, Charlie, Ethan, Trenton, and Cole; and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his father and mother in-law, Tom & Jan Burch.

Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street in Kingman on Monday, September 2, 2019 from 1:00 pm till the time of the service at 3:00pm with Celebrant Amanda Atkins officiating.
