Mr. Harley Mack Caldwell, 87, Lafayette, formerly of Crawfordsville, passed away Tuesday, August 4th, at 1:21 PM, in the Indiana Veterans Home, West Lafayette. He was born September 8th, 1927, in Crawfordsville, to Carl Jessie and Louise (Pointer) Caldwell.

Mr. Caldwell had worked for Lewis-Shepard (Hyster Co) and retired as a Custodian with the North Montgomery School Corporation. He was a member of the Woodland Heights Christian Church and a WW II U. S. Army Veteran.

He is survived by his sons: James (Misty) Caldwell, Crawfordsville; Jeffrey Caldwell, Russellville; his daughter: Kimberly High, New Ross; his brother: Richard (Beverly) Caldwell, Crawfordsville; and his sister: Rose Hall, Crawfordsville. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Charles and Carl D. "Tom" Caldwell; and sister: Helen Hunt.

A Public Graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, August 7th, in the Oak Hill South Cemetery, with Rev. David Finch officiating. There will not be a visitation service.
