Harold Asberry

Mr. Harold Loyd Asberry, 86, Crawfordsville, passed away Tuesday, April 17, at 6:45 AM in Bickford Cottage, Crawfordsville. He was born November 14, 1925, in Benton County, to Othie Miller and Stella (Crouch) Asberry. He married Betty Jean Huntington April 8, 1951, in Crawfordsville. She preceded him in death in 1997.

Mr. Asberry was a retired farmer; 1943 graduate of Gilboa Township School in Benton County; and a member of the Independent Order of Foresters. He is survived by family and friends. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his Mother in 1994 and his Father in 1977.

Cremation was selected without any public services. A family committal service will be conducted at a later date at the Oak Hill Grant Avenue Cemetery, Crawfordsville.
