Harold Brock

Harold Brock, age 87, of Veedersburg passed away at 7:25am on November 17, 2014 at Ben Hur Nursing Home in Crawfordsville. He was born in Lodi, Indiana on September 1, 1927 to the late Clarence and Sarah Ann (Wilcutt) Brock.

Harold attended Lodi School and started his life working as an auto mechanic at Car Carrier in Clinton Iowa where he met the love of his life, Betty Jean (Primes) Brock. They married in 1948 and have spent the last 66 years together. Harold owned and operated Brock's Automatic Transmission in Gessie, Indiana and later retired from TeePak in Danville, IL. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping, and raising chickens.

He is survived by his wife, Betty and his son, Ron, both of Veedersburg; 4 brothers, Lewis (Iris) Brock, John (Virginia) Brock, Fred (Rebecca) Brock, all of Veedersburg and Jerry (Linda) Brock of Covington; and 3 grandchildren, Emma Lee, Aaron Michael, and Adam Daniel Brock

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Clarence; and two sisters, Ruth and Frances.
