Mr. Harold Ray Robbins, 91, Crawfordsville, passed away in his home on Friday at 4:00 AM. He was born February 10, 1921, in Rush County, Indiana, to Warren W. and Bessie B. (Nelson) Robbins. He married Anna M.(Walsh) Robbins June 3, 1972, in Sidney, Illinois. She survives.
Mr. Robbins had been a Produce Farmer and a truck driver, last driving for Morgan Drive-A-Way. He was a member of the Yountsville Community Church; the Ben Hur 49 Camping Club; loved to garden; was a kind, gentle, and happy man who loved to laugh.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter: Patsy (Larry) McMullen, Ladoga; step-children: Becky (Fred) Hausmann, Atwood, Illinois; Cheryl (Dennis) Behrend, The Villages, Florida; Mary Lou Zielbauer, Wheaton, Illinois; and John L. Curtis, Chicago. Also surviving is a sister: Ruby L. Chambers, Avon, Indiana; 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife; his parents; a daughter: Linda Robbins; step-son: Ronnie Curtis; step-daughter: Alice Jean
Williams; 2 brothers: William and Donald Robbins; and a sister: Mary Hasty.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 12, at 10:00 AM at the Fremont Street Baptist Church, 1908 Fremont St., Crawfordsville, with Revs. E. Ed Nichols and Dan Aldrich officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Hill South Cemetery. Friends may call at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, 315 S. Washington St, Crawfordsville, Monday, June 11, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
