Mrs. Helen L. Ellis, age 84, of Hillsboto, In. passed away at 2:05 am Friday November 4th, 2011 at Whitlock House,Crawfordsville, In.
born on February 8, 1927 in Calumet city, Il, she was the daughter of Earl Miller Snyder and Edith Eileen Smith Snyder and she graduated from Waynetown High School. Her memberships included the Waynetown Baptist church, Beta Chi Chapeter of Psi Iota Xi, American Legion Auxillary, the Maple Grove Home Demonstration Club, the Fountain County election Board. and the Order of eastern star.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Ernest N. Ellis of Hillsboro, In. Son: earnest R. and Sue Ellis of Waynetown, In.
Daughters: Belinda and eric Haas of Summerville south Carolina, Corliss and Jay Garrett of Knoxville, Tennessee and Lisa and Clint blundon of Spring Branch Texas. Brother: Gerald Snyder of Waynetown, In. and Sister: earleen and Mike snyder-Flynn of Crawfordsville, In.
Frienda and family may call from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Monday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday November 8, 2011 at Shoemaker Funeral Home with the Rev. dorman winger officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Memorial Donatins may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breat Cancer Foundation, Indianapolis Affiliate, P.O. Box 6069, Dept. 95, Indianapolis, In. 46206-6069
