Jack Dean Swank

Mr. Jack D. Swank, age 76, of Waynetown, In. greeted Christmas morning here on earth and then again at his heavenly home on Friday December 25, 2015.
Jack was born May 24, 1939 at Crawfordsville, In the son of Charles Clifford Swank and Marion Benaldine Suiters Swank. Jack grew up in Waynetown and graduated from Waynetown High School. He married Evelyn Barton in august 1959 and worked for 41 years at R.R. Donnelley and Son's retireing from the position of materials testing. Jack was very involved in the community having served on the Waynetown Volunteer fire dept. for 15 years and was an ambulance attendant for 10 yrs. Jack lived his faith daily and served as a minister for the Elmdale Community Church and the Wesley Church for a number of years.
Jack is survived by his wife: Evelyn Swank of Waynetown, In. 2 sons: Gary and Kim Swank of Crawfordsville,IN and Mike and Angie Swank opf Waynetown, In. He also has a brother: Charles and Sandy Swank of Attica and 4 grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services for Jack Swank will be held at 7:00pm Tuesday December 29th at Shoemaker Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Raffignone officiating with cremation to follow. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00pm until the services.
