James Matthew Jackson

James "Matt" Matthew Jackson, age 40 of Crawfordsville passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Franciscan Health Crawfordsville. He was born in Terre Haute on September 8, 1983 to Paul Jackson and Margie Cox.

Matt graduated from South Vermillion High School in 2002. He met the love of his life Elyse Eggleston in 2012. Together they have two children, Madelyn and Alexander. Matt loved spending time outdoors fishing and hiking. He enjoyed drawing and music. Matt loved his family fiercely and loved being a stay home dad.

He is survived by his significant other, Elyse; two children, Alexander Jackson and Madelyn Jackson; his siblings, Paul, Frank, Floyd, and Peggy; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul, and siblings, Phil and Paula.
