Mr. James B. Moore, 71, Crawfordsville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 12, at 4:15 AM, in his home. He was born March 3, 1941, in Tolono, Illinois, to Marion C. and Aileen (Bauman) Moore. He was married to Elayne Dickerson; also Kita Rose Johnson and Ramona Joy Vincent. He was currently engaged to Patti Perkins of Crawfordsville. She survives.

Mr. Moore was the founder and owner for 40 years of Central Indiana Rubber Products of Crawfordsville. He was a graduate of Unity High School, Tolono, Illinois; attended Wabash College, where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, and graduated from University of Illinois. He was a U. S. Army Veteran, having served in Germany. His memberships included the American Legion Post #72, Crawfordsville; the Crawfordsville Country Club; Rocky Ridge Golf Club, where he was an avid golfer; the International Falls, Minnesota, Elks Club; Pheasants Forever; the Moose Lodge; and he was a pilot.

In addition to his fiance, Patti, he is survived by his daughters: Rachael E. Moore, Crawfordsville; and Rebecca A. (Aaron) Benge, Waynetown. Also surviving is his

sister: Tonna (John) Laketk, Batavia, Illinois; grandchildren: Elijah Crowder, Lily Riggen, Luke Benge, Ethan Chezem, Noah Benge, Esther Benge, and Zedekiah Benge; his close friends: Todd Douglas and James Curry; and his special dogs: Ava and Bailey. He was preceded in death by his parents and his former wife, Elayne Dickerson Harvey.

Cremation was selected with a Memorial Service to be held Sunday, September 16, at 4:00 PM at the Wabash College Chapel, Crawfordsville, with Dr. John Pettigrew officiating. The family will greet friends on Sunday from 1:30 PM until 4:00 PM in the Wabash College Chapel. Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, Crawfordsville, is assisting with arrangements.
