James R Sarver Sr

James R Sarver Sr, age 70 of Williamsport passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Williamsport St Vincent Hospital.  He was born in Crawfordsville on September 18, 1948 to the late Russell A & Virginia (Stultz) Sarver.

James graduated from Crawfordsville High School and throughout the years worked at RR Donnelley’s and Cargill Grain.  In his younger years, he umpired little league baseball, enjoyed gardening, fishing, mushroom hunting, was an avid reader, and loved playing bingo.

He is survived by two sons, Jimmy Jr. (Shirley) Sarver and Jason (Brandi) Wilson, both of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Alissa (Mike) Brock of Crawfordsville; a brother, David Sarver of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Beth (Gary) Jeffers of Waynetown and Catherine (Dwayne) Harris of Crawfordsville; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S Washington St, in Crawfordsville on Monday, May 6, 2019 from 5:00pm till the time of the funeral service at 7:00pm with Pastor Duane Abston officiating.  Cremation will follow the service.   A special thanks to Williamsport Nursing & Rehabilitation, especially Cat, Lisa, and Gina, for all the care and support they have given throughout the years.
