Jamie Shawn Davis

Jamie Shawn Davis, age 60 of Lafayette passed away on November 13, 2024 at his home in Lafayette. He was born in Crawfordsville on October 16, 1964 to John Wesley Davis and Cherie (Mahan) Higgins.

Jamie graduated from South Montgomery High School, class of 1983. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Jamie spent 30 years in Texas before returning to Indiana. He worked as a Plumbing Pro at Lowe's and Home Depot. Jamie was a wheeler and a dealer, collecting and selling vintage speakers and guitars. He had a passion for music and enjoyed playing the guitar and drums.

Jamie is survived by his parents, John Wesley Davis (Elizabeth Thompson) and Cherie (Ed) Higgins; stepbrothers, Jeff and Brian (Becky) Higgins; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Wesley and Betty Davis and Ray and Rosalynd Mahan.
