Jeffrey Larkin

Jeffrey Floyd Larkin, age 90, of Crawfordsville passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Franciscan Health Crawfordsville. He was born in Eubank, Kentucky on February 11, 1934 to the late Arthur and Baltia (Rogers) Larkin.

Jeffrey grew up farming around Indiana and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He married the love of his life, Freida Anne McCollum on June 7, 1952 in Crawfordsville. He owned and operated Jeff's Cycle Sales, selling Yamaha and Kawasaki Motorcycles. Jeffrey enjoyed racing Motorcross and Flat Track. He was a member of the Eagles and Moose Lodge, as well as a lifetime member of the American Motorcycle Association. Jeffrey loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. His hobbies were fishing, playing pool, and racing and collecting motorcycles.

Jeffrey will be deeply missed by his wife; daughter, Teresa (Rob) Perry; grandchildren, Joshua (Becky) Perry and Kylie (Kevin) Nolan; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Wyatt, Jackson, Karter, and Kenlie; siblings, Charles (Sandy) Larkin, Sylvilene Haltom, and Gloria (Leon) Odendahl.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Diana Lynn Larkin; and his siblings, Loyd Larkin, Zelpha Hughs, Evelyn Bevers, Arless Larkin, and Lavon Larkin.

A visitation will be held for Jeffrey at Sanders Funeral Care, 313 S. Washington Street in Crawfordsville on Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 11:00am until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery Grant Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in Jeffrey's name to the charity of your choice.
