Jennifer Janine Jones

Jennifer Janine Jones, age 56, passed away surrounded by loved ones at 10:52 am Saturday, December 8, 2018 in the Franciscan St. Elizabeth Hospital, Crawfordsville, IN. after a brief battle with cancer and pneumonia.

Jennifer was born October 6, 1962 the daughter of Charles Robert and Arline Fay (Wilson) Jones at Peru, Indiana. She was a 1980 graduate of North Montgomery High School and was the Good Sam State Teen Director for many years and she was currently the President of the Waynetown Gladiators Camping Club. Jennifer worked as a dental assistant in Crawfordsville for many years and was the most loving, giving person anyone could know. the center of her world was her daughter, Janine and her family. She had an incredible memory. Jennifer loved her job and her patients appreciated everything she did to help them have a good visit. She had a big heart and compassion for animals.

Jennifer is survived by her daughter, Janine Faye Jones, US Navy, on board the USS Theodore Roosevelt; father, Charles Robert Jones of Waynetown; brothers, Charles Robert (Hazel) Jones Jr. of West Lafayette; William Leon (Linda-Marie) Jones of Portsmouth, NH; and Richard (Diane) Jones of Honolulu, HI. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother Arline Fay (Wilson) Jones and brother and sister-in-law Glen Paul and Janet Jones in addition to numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A private family service will be held in the spring at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Shoemaker Funeral Home, Waynetown, IN. is honored to be assisting the family with these arrangements.
