Jeremy E. Newnum, 34, of Tangier, IN went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at 12:54pm after being involved in a motorcycle accident. Jeremy was born February 11, 1978 in Clinton, IN. He resided in "God's Country" in Tangier most of his life. He graduated from Turkey Run High School in 1996 and married Christy L (Brown) Newnum on August 21, 1997 in Kingman.
Jeremy worked in construction, logging, and was a wonderful stay at home Dad. He had a passion for music and could play any musical instrument, was a wonderful singer, loved kids, enjoyed shooting guns and was a proud member of the NRA. He was a member of the Spirit of Life Ministries and involved in the youth ministries.
Those left behind include his wife, Christy L. Newnum and his 5 precious children, Alex, Dalton, Bailey, Elijah, and Luke; parents Steve(Debbie) Newnum and Roxanne Doty and sister's Chrystal (Gresian) Walton, Stephanie Newnum and his brother Chad Newnum, his grandparents Leon (Vi) Newnum, Geneveive Little, George Little and numerous loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert W James and his Granny, Shirley Lee Newnum.
Visitation is from 4pm to 8pm on Monday, September 3, 2012 and funeral services will be Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 10:30am both at Spirit of Life Ministries in Kingman with Pastor Steve Crum officiating. Burial will follow at Rush Creek Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Spirit of Life building fund. Sanders Funeral Care entrusted with care.
