Jo Lynn Adams

Jo Lynn Adams, age 72 of Lafayette, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Crawfordsville on March 22, 1951 to the late Charles & Mae (Parsons) Adams.

Jo graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1969 and was a fun-loving mother and grandmother. She was a nurse's aide and QMA at Ben Hur Nursing Home and graduated from St Elizabeth Nursing School in 1989. She was then a registered nurse at Williamsburg Healthcare and worked at Home/St Elizabeth Hospital for 30 years. She had a great sense of humor and will be missed by many.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jordan Yates and Kristy (Chris) Baugh; six grandchildren, Matheu (Taylor) McElwee, Jesse McElwee, Brendan McElwee, Rachel McElwee, Larissa Catron, and Hunter Baugh; two great grandchildren, Kollin and Sawyer McElwee; a sister, Joyce Gilliland; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Jerry Gobel.

There will be a graveside service at Oak Hill North Cemetery, 392 Oak Hill Road, in Crawfordsville on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 2:00pm.
