John Robert Mayotte

John Robert Mayotte, age 82 of Crawfordsville passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Franciscan Health in Crawfordsville.  He was born in Jasper County, Indiana on September 9, 1936 to the late Fred Lewis & Goldie Mae (Warner) Mayotte.

John graduated from Veedersburg High School and married Donna Jean Berlin on December 9, 1952 in Attica.  He retired from RR Donnelley after 36 years and was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. He enjoyed drawing, working on leather crafts, and taking care of his lawn.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Donna of Crawfordsville; two sons, John A. Mayotte of Crawfordsville and Alan Ray (Christa) Mayotte of New Richmond; a daughter, Sharon Lucas of Crawfordsville; a grandson, Paul Lucas of Carmel; three step grandchildren, Roger Swears of Darlington, Jennifer Swears of New Richmond, and Jason Lucas of Crawfordsville; and 9 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Freda Sidham; and two brothers, Fred & James Mayotte.

A Graveside Service will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Goodland, Indiana on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 1:00pm EST (12:00pm Goodland time) with Father Robert Bernotas officiating.  Sanders Priebe Funeral Care entrusted with care.  Share memories and condolences online at www.sandersfuneralcare.com
