Judith Jeanne Jaques

Judith "Judy" Jeanne (Goodin) Jaques, age 87 of Wallace, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Bickford Memory Care. She was born in Crawfordsville on September 6, 1937 to the late Charles L. and June L. (Weaver) Goodin.

Judy graduated from Wallace High School in 1955 and graduated from Purdue University with a Master's Degree in Home Economics. She married the love of her life, Richard P. Jaques, who preceded her in death on August 26, 2022. Judy was a loving mother and supported her husband's Air Force Career by hosting Foreign Dignitaries, supporting Air Force Officers Wives Club, responsible for holiday functions, and looking after the wellbeing of the junior officer's wives. She enjoyed making stained glass windows and lamps, sewing, cooking, playing the piano, antiquing, and shopping at Goodwill.

She is survived by her daughters, Yolanda Pastuszak and Tiffany (Steve) Vanous; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her sister, Shery Goodin Webster on September 23, 2023.

A gathering of friends and family will be held at Sanders Funeral Care, 315 S. Washington Street in Crawfordsville on April 5, 2025 from 1:00 pm until the time of Celebration of Life at 3:00 pm.
