Judith Ann Jones

Judith Ann (Christy) Jones, age 79 of Crawfordsville passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Ben Hur Health and Rehabilitation in Crawfordsville.

She was born in Crawfordsville on June 18, 1939 to the late Maurice & Violetta A. (Banta) Christy. She attended Crawfordsville High School and on January 13, 1956 she married the love of her life, Jamie D. Jones, who preceded her in death on May 11, 2011.

Judith was a loving mother and homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary and the Sugar Creek Quilters. Throughout the years she worked for Doris Remley Catering, volunteered at the Wesley Thrift Shop and enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children: Terry (Jane) Jones, of Lafayette, Tony (Jeanne) Jones, Angie (Jim) Miller; Rhett (Bonnie) Jones, and Todd (Lynda) Jones all of Crawfordsville; a sister, Linda (Gary) Bentley of Crawfordsville; 13 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren with 2 on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jamie.

Visitation will be on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 4:00pm till 7:00pm at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S Washington Street in Crawfordsville. The funeral service will be at 11:00am on Monday, August 20, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oak Hill North Cemetery.
