Kathleen Ellen Moyer

Kathleen “Kate” Ellen (Long) Moyer, age 86 of Kingman passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at home while surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 21, 1931 to the late Ora Virgil & Mary Ann (Scott) Long.

Kate attended Grange Corner schools and married Hercel E. Moyer, who preceded her in death on July 31, 2007. She was a drywaller and drywalled until she was 72 years old. She was a member of the Spirit of Life Ministries and she enjoyed singing, playing Bingo, slots, off track betting and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by a son, Ron Moyer of Arizona; a daughter, Gwen (Jerry) Tibbett of Kingman; a brother, Danny (Donna) Long of Lafayette; four sisters, Florence Lillie of Oregon, Beverly (Joe) Franks of Florida, Vida Larson of Arizona, and Iris Hopkins of Waveland; 8 grandchildren, Travis, Michelle, Larry (Sheila), J.D. Lee, Jerry, Matt, Cassie, and Deanie; three great grandchildren, Bryce, Tyler (Kat), and Deagan; one great-great grandchild, Bryce; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hercel; two sons, Lee & Roy Moyer; a daughter, Darlene; five brothers, Joe, Roy, Bill, Warren, and Larry; one sister, Mary Lou; and a granddaughter, Amber.

Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street, in Kingman on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 5:00pm till the time of the funeral service at 7:00pm with Pastor Steve Crum officiating.
