Kathy Ann Ward

Ms. Kathy Ann Ward, 59, Crawfordsville, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday evening, May 19th. She was born June 18th, 1956, in Greencastle, to Thomas and Reba Ann (Orr) Bixler. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a 1974 graduate of Shelbyville, Tennessee, High School and a 2004 graduate of Ivy Tech receiving an Associate Degree in Nursing. In her free time she enjoyed being with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters: Dr. Candi (Scott) Horsting, Sarasota, Florida; Courtney James, West Point, Indiana; and Jamee (Mike) Thomas, Rockville, Indiana. Also surviving are her brothers: David (Cindi) Bixler, Carmel; Bennie (Theresa) Baker, Arkansas; her sister: Penny White, Lafayette; grandchildren: Katie Robinson, Christian Cleveland, and Samantha Boardman; and her beloved dog, Dolly. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother: Thomas Bixler

Cremation was chosen with a Public Memorial Service being held on Wednesday, May 25, at 7:00 PM in the Shady Knoll Apartments Clubhouse, 200 Knoll Circle, Crawfordsville. The family will greet friends in the Clubhouse on Wednesday from 6:00 PM until the service time
