Keith Dale Witt

Mr. Keith Dale Witt, 65, of Darlington, passed away Wednesday, September 20th, 2017, at the St. Elizabeth East Hospital, Lafayette.He was born February 1st, 1952 in Crawfordsville, to Carl and Alice (Nichols) Witt.He married Kathy Myers in Alamo on November 11th, 1984. She survives.

Keith retired from Landis & Gyr, Lafayette, after 28 years, where he last worked as an Associate Product Specialist.. He was a 1970 graduate of Crawfordsville High School.Keith loved music. He was a great bass player and singer for "The Witt's End Band", which included his son, Kyle; brother, Bruce; and Dustin Demoret. He has been in several local bands such as; Panama Road; Thunder Valley; Sugar Creek Band; Clawila Brothers; and Easy, Snake, and Peach.He also enjoyed fishing, camping, sitting around a campfire, and making people laugh. There was always a twinkle in his eye.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: daughter: Katie Marie Witt, Miami, Florida; and son: Kyle Emerson Witt, Lafayette.Also surviving are his brothers: Bruce (Cathy) Witt, Crawfordsville; Gary (Renee) Witt, Mattoon, Illinois; Mark (Annette) Witt, Arizona; his "Granddog", Reba.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents and an infant sister.

Cremation was chosen with a "Celebration of Keith's Life" for family and friends being held at the Witt family home in Darlington, this Saturday, September 23rd, from Noon until 3:00 PM (for directions, call 794-4068).
