Kenneth Lee Wray, 53, Crawfordsville, passed away Sunday, January 23, at 12:25 PM at the Indiana University Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born on August 26, 1957 in Lebanon, Indiana, to Keith P. and Mary (Myers) Wray. He married Katie Morgan on November 26, 1988, in Brownsvalley, IN. She survives.
Kenneth had worked for 17 years at the Ben Hur Nursing Home, Crawfordsville. He last worked for 3 years at Banjo Corp., Crawfordsville, where he was a valve tester. He attended Lebanon High School and was a member of the Crawfordsville Gun Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and tending his garden.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 1 son: Keith (Lyndsey) Wray, Waynetown; 4 daughters: Angie (Kenneth) Takacs, Tausha (Randall) Davis, Kara (Ian) Lesko, and Ivy Wray, all of Crawfordsville. He is also survived by 3 brothers: Charles (Amy) Lawson, Brian (Debbie) Wray, and John (Patti) Wray, all of Crawfordsville, and 1 sister: Janice (Leon) Smith, Lebanon. There are 8 grandchildren surviving. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Mark Wray.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 27, at 11:30 AM at the Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, 315 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville, with Rev. Joe Dodds officiating. Burial will be at the Indian Creek Hill Cemetery, New Market. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday, January 26, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
