Kervin Nathaniel Curtis, age 21, of Crawfordsville, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 in Fountain County. He was born on June 9, 2000 to Jeffrey and Holly (Hathaway) Curtis.
Kervin graduated from Southmont High School in 2018 and went on to graduate from Ohio Technical College in 2020 and received a degree in diesel mechanics. He worked at RPM in Lafayette and INDOT Crawfordsville as a diesel mechanic. He married Angel Trisha (Mason) Murdock, Scheottle, Bodenhamer, Curtis on July 22, 2021. He enjoyed archery/hunting, spending time with his family and friends, farming, and setting off fireworks with his friends on the Fourth of July. He liked to hang out with his papaw, James, on the antique tractors. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, 4-H, Southmont FFA, Montgomery Pioneer Association, and Hilltop Archery. He enjoyed being a leader and helping the new members.
Kervin is survived by his parents, a brother, Nicholas Curtis; maternal grandmother, Carol Helen (Parmley) Hathaway; paternal grandmother, Frances L. (Sanders) Curtis; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Kervin was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, George Edward Hathaway Jr, in 1991; Uncle, Stephen E. Philpott, in 2021; and paternal grandfather, James O. Curtis in 2021.
