Mr. Kyle Wayne Kalweit, 39, Stockwell, formerly of Crawfordsville, went to be with the Lord Thursday morning, November 23rd, 2017. He was born August 27th, 1978 in Crawfordsville to Dale and Dawn (Brooks) Kalweit.
Kyle worked in the Rotec Machine Shop where he was a Supervisor andTeam Leader and admired by his co-workers.His hobbies included being with family; taking care of others' needs; go-kart racing; fishing; and boating. Kyle loved life and his family and friends. If someone was in need, Kyle was all ready in motion to help. HIs smile and hugs were contagious! His love of life made him a blessing to many, especially his children and the love of his life, Kim. In Kyle's memory share a smile today.
Kyle is survived by his companion, Kim Furr; his children: Xander Grant; Brooklyn Waldron, Jaylia Kalweit, and Kaden Kalweit; his Mother: Dawn DeSutter of Crawfordsville; his father: Dale (Lori) Kalweit of Crawfordsville; his brothers: Tyler (Kim) Kalweit, Veedersburg; and Mike (Kandace) Browning, Crawfordsville; his aunts: Debi Scruggs, Crawfordsville; Denise (Dan) Maxwell, Darlington; Diana Hester, Crawfordsville; Deana Brooks, New Richmond; and Terri Cravens, Crawfordsville; Also surviving is his uncle: David (Betty) Brooks, Crawfordsville; step-father: Tony DeSutter, Crawfordsville; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Eugene and Betty Brooks; Jim and Vivian Kalweit; and his uncles: Keith Hester; and Darin Brooks.
A Celebration of Kyle's Life will be held on Tuesday, November 28th, at 3:00 PM in the Stockwell United Methodist Church, 6941 Church St., Stockwell, with Revs. Mark Berg and Stu McIntyre officiating.Burial will follow in the Yorktown Cemetery south of Stockwell.Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Memorials in Kyle's name may be made to your favorite charity
