Larry Roy High

Mr. Larry Roy High, 48, New Market, passed away Tuesday, May 5th, at 2:09 AM, in the St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born April 2nd, 1967, in Crawfordsville, to Ronald Gene and Dorothy Pauline (Gray) High.

Mr. High had been employed for 14 years with the Indiana Department of Transportation where he last worked as a Crew Leader. He then later for Leming Supply for 5 years as a Delivery Driver. He was a 1985 graduate of Crawfordsville High School; was a U. S. Army Veteran; and enjoyed working on cars, drag racing, and singing Karaoke making people laugh.

He is survived by his Mother: Dorothy, of Crawfordsville; his sons: Matthew High, Waveland; and Blake High, Crawfordsville; his daughter: Megan High, Crawfordsville; his brother: Randy (Kim) High, New Ross; sisters: Cindy Henderson and Julie, both of Crawfordsville. Also surviving are grandchildren: Braycen and Mallory High; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; his brother: Gary; grandparents: Charles and Beulah Gray and Cecil and Zona High.

Funeral services are scheduled for 7:00 PM Friday, May 8th, at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, with Rev. Vernon Dowell officiating. Cremation will follow funeral services. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
