Mr. Larry Joe Northcutt, 71, Lebanon, formerly of Crawfordsville, passed away in his home on Thursday, September 18th, at 1:15 PM, after a 4 year battle with cancer. He was born July 30th, 1943, in Crawfordsville, to Walter E. and Alberta H. (Swank) Northcutt. He married Linda Kay Farley on January 3, 1969, in Crawfordsville. She survives.

Mr. Northcutt had worked 20 years for the U S Postal Service, and later worked for Pizza Hut, Pizza King, Domino's Pizza, and the Oak Hill Cemetery. He was a 1962 graduate of Crawfordsville High School; a U S Army Vietnam War Veteran; a member of the American Legion Post #72; was an avid bowler; and in his free time enjoyed watching his grandkids play their sports and spending time with the family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son: Larry Joe (Cheri) Northcutt II, Lebanon; his daughter: Amber (Johnny) Mings, Science Hill, Kentucky; brothers: Paul (Kathy) Northcutt, Warsaw; Gene (Lila) Northcutt, Delaware; sisters: Joretta (Gary) Jones, Michigan; Linda (Dan) Stewart, Waynetown; grandchildren: Krystal, Zachariah, and Karissa Harwood; Shyenne Lawless; Lea and Collin Northcutt; 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Jim, Dick, David, and Ralph Northcutt; and sisters: Doris Patton and Alice Bane.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, September 22nd, at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, with Rod Curran officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill North Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by the U S Army and the Crawfordsville VFW/American Legion Honor Guard. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 AM until the service time. Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity. Online condolences may be sent to: powerspriebefh.com
