Leland Robert Naughgles

Leland Robert Naughgles, age 38, of Rockville passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017. He was born in Brazil, IN on September 23, 1978 to Joseph Wayne & Dixie Rae (Wampler) Naughgles.

He attended Turkey Run High School and was raised in the Rockville First Assembly of God. He was a carpenter and welder, a jack of all trades, very adventurous, loved the outdoors, canoeing, hacky sack, ice cream and taking long naps.

He is survived by his parents, Joseph & Dixie Naughgles; son, Cameron; daughter, Gracie Byrer; a best friend and mother of his children, Sherrie Elder; two sisters, Christine Reed-Link and Gwendolyn Teneyuca; three nephews, Trey, Dalton, and Joel; two nieces, Tori and Beast (Shelby); several aunts, uncles, and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe & Evelyn Naughgles and Robert & Dorthy Wampler; and his uncle Roy Lee Naughgles.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 5-8 pm at Faithbridge Assembly of God, 541 W US 36 in Rockville. The funeral will be Friday, September 1, 2017 at 11am at the church with Jerry Bates officiating. Burial will follow at Clear Run Cemetery in Bridgeton.
