Phillip "Lemmy" Lemuel Pithoud, age 71 of Bloomingdale, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024 at 2:12am at his home while surrounded by his loving sisters. He was born in Clinton, Indiana on October 22, 1952 to the late Henry Lemuel & Ellen Kathleen (Dooley) Pithoud.
Lemmy graduated from Turkey Run High School in 1970 and on December 6, 1980, he married Debbie Hickman, who preceded him in death on May 26, 2011. He was a farmer and truck driver and enjoyed mushroom hunting and visiting with his friends. He was a fun-loving soul that loved joking around but was always around to help a lending hand.
He is survived by his three sisters, Anita (Duane) Pithoud-Myers, Brenda Pithoud-Ollier, and Linda Pithoud-Snodgrass; uncle, Jake Lape; aunt, Evelyn Hobson; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many caring friends. He was loved by all and will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Debbie Pithoud; his paternal grandparents, Lemuel E. & Velva Moore Pithoud; and maternal grandparents, Verna Seay Dooley and Purdy James Dooley.
Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street, in Kingman, on Sunday, February 18, 2024 from 1:00pm till the time of the funeral service at 3:00pm with Pastor Ken Charlton officiating. Burial will follow at Kingman Fraternal Cemetery. A special thanks to the Hospice of the Wabash Valley for their wonderful care.
