Lillian Buser

Mrs. Lillian Irene Buser, 85, Ft. Wayne and formerly of Crawfordsville, passed away Tuesday, December 30th, at 6:55 PM in the Summit City Nursing Home, Ft. Wayne. She was born August 11th, 1929, in Crawfordsville, to Layton an Opal Leota (Carver) Wolfe. She married Dale E. Buser on April 24th, 1949, in Crawfordsville. He preceded her in death on May 8th, 2001.

Mrs. Buser was a retired Nurse having been the Director of Nursing and a Teacher of Nursing Arts at Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville. She also had been a nurse in Bloomington, Illinois. In addition to her nursing career, she owned with her husband, "Flowers By Dale", in Crawfordsville, for 35 years. She was a 1947 graduate of Crawfordsville High School and a 1950 graduate of the General Hospital School of Nursing in Indianapolis. Her memberships included the Crawfordsville First Christian Church.

She is survived by her son: Hans Buser, Ft. Wayne; and 3 grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter: Minda Lillie; and her parents.

Cremation without services was chosen. A Private Committal Service will be held at a later date in the Indian Creek Hill Cemetery, New Market.
