Linda Gooding

Mrs. Linda Lee Gooding, 72, Crawfordsville, joined her husband, Robert F. Gooding, Jr, on Sunday, August 11, at 2:45 PM, in the I.U. Arnett Hospital, Lafayette. She was born January 28, 1941, in Chicago, to Lynn Julian and Edrie (Lowe) Overman. She married Robert December 24, 1960, in Crawfordsville. He preceded her in death in 2001.

Mrs. Gooding had retired from Wal Mart Optical Lab; was a homemaker; and had worked at Crawford Food Stores and The Redwood Inn. She was a 1959 graduate of Kingman High School and enjoyed in her free time crocheting and crafting.

She is survived by her daughters: Julia Gooding, Crawfordsville and Helen Joy (Bob) Moreland, Bastrop, Louisiana. Also surviving are her sisters: Sue Angle, Berlin, Wisconsin; Olive (Mel) Harmless, Rockville; Roseann (Harold) Holt, Veedersburg; grandchildren: Amanda Lee Gooding; Allison Grace Sisco; great grandchildren: Adia Marie and Ella Dean Sisco. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
