Linda Sue Hargis

Ms. Linda Sue (Sheets) Hargis, 58, Crawfordsville, passed away Thursday, December 1st, in the Signature Healthcare of Lafayette. She was born in Crawfordsville to William F., Jr. and Mavis (Gross) Sheets-Handley on November 6th, 1958. She married Robert Hargis who preceded her in death.

Linda was a Homemaker; was a graduate of North Montgomery High School; and her memberships included the Liberty Chapel Church; the Eagles Lodge; and the Moose Lodge.

She is survived by her Mother, with whom she made her home; her brother, Timothy Paul Sheets, Crawfordsville; her Step-father: Gerald Handley; and her step-brothers: Randy and Rex Handley, Crawfordsville. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father; and her grandparents: Fred and Marcella Sheets; and David and Helen Gross.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 6th, at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, with Rev. Allen Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill North Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from Noon until the service time.
