Mr. Linneaus J. Wheeler, 82, Crawfordsville, passed away Friday, July 26, at 2:05 PM, in the Ben Hur Nursing Home. He was born December 24, 1930, in Floyd County, Indiana, to Newland and Oma (Fancher) Wheeler. After his Mother's death, he was raised by his grandparents: Wilson and Allie Fancher. He married Eulah J. Pemberton, July 17, 1976, in Crawfordsville. She survives.

Mr. Wheeler had been a businessman in Crawfordsville and in Las Vegas for over 45 years. He and his wife owned Wheelers Dry Cleaners and the South Boulevard Dry Cleaners in Crawfordsville. While working in the dry cleaning business in Las Vegas, he was the official and the only one allowed to clean Liberace's outfits. He also took care of Wayne Newton's dry cleaning. After retirement he worked at McDonalds South as a greeter. He was a 46 year member of the Crawfordsville Eagles; was a graduate of Marengo High School; was a member of the U. S. Army Reserves; and loved to garden, grow flowers, and travel.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter: Sherri (Jason) Lane, Crawfordsville; his sons: Robert D. Wheeler, Mitchell, Indiana; and Randall D. Wheeler, Montana. Also surviving is his granddaughter: Lora Jane (Doug) Porter; and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, and grandson: Robert David Wheeler II.

Graveside services are being held Monday, July 29, at 2:00 PM at the Indian Creek Hill Cemetery, Highway 47 South, New Market. There will not be a public visitation
