Lois Virginia Bell

Mrs. Lois V. Bell, age 80, formerly of Waynetown, In.,passed away Christmas Day evening at the home of her daughter near Hillsboro with her family around her. Lois was born May 19,1936 at Davenport Iowa the daughter of Robert D. and Minnie Z. (nee: Chandler) Reynolds. The family moved to Montgomery County Indiana where Lois attended school at Linden. Her church membership was with the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene. She was an avid crafter and enjoyed working crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. Her constant companion for the last 15 yrs was her beloved cat: Buttercup.

Lois will be missed by her son: Paul & Jayme Bell of New Ross and daughters: Paula Willis of Hillsboro and Ruthann Bell of Crawfordsville, In.She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and one sister: Fran Rupp of Indianapolis, In. She was preceded in death by an infant sons: James Allen in 1958 and 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Funeral services for Lois Bell will be held at 1:00pm Friday December 30th at Shoemaker Funeral Home, 202 Bratton Rd. Waynetown with Pastor Greg McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in the Mace Community Cemetery. The family will receive guests from noon until the services at 1:00 pm on Friday.
