Lois Maxine (Buster) Kohl Fischer

Lois M. Kohl Fischer, 84, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2023 at The Lane House in Crawfordsville. She was born on December 11, 1938 to John and Maxine (Johnson) Buster in Attica.
Lois was a graduate of Attica School, Class of 1956. She worked at the Indiana Veterans Home in West Lafayette, as the Recreational Supervisor, retiring after 20 years. Lois was in charge of celebrations, parties and activities for the residents. After retirement, she enjoyed making ceramics and knitting.
Lois is survived by three children, Tony Kohl, Lisa Kohl and Kristal Kohl; three grandchildren, Travis (Sarah) Kohl, Toby Kohl and Amanda Kohl; two great grandchildren, Evelyn and Harper Kohl; a sister, Sandra Barton; and a brother, William Buster. She was predeceased by her parents John Buster and Maxine Dill; a son, Nicholas Kohl; a granddaughter, Katharine Kohl and a brother, Edward Buster.
